Where to start?
To 'get started' with crypto-currency, you'll need to setup an account on one of the exchange networks. This will provide you with a crypto wallet for storing your coins. The most popular exchange right now is Coinbase.
Once you have your wallet ready, you'll need to follow these steps:
- Get a digital wallet - a currency address where you'll store your crypto currency.
- Add some funds to it - Either directly using a credit card (when you get your wallet), by finding a Local Bitcoin trader, or find a Bitcoin ATM.
- Get on a crypto-currency exchange - While many people just add to their wallets and hold the money for the future, some investors trade between the currencies to maximize their gains.
- Stay up-to-date on the crypto-currency news - Join in on crypto news blogs and make reading up on the latest events part of your daily activity by following ccfx on Twitter.

Coinbase is the most popular crypto-currency website, and a service that offers a single platform for a Bitcoin wallet, Ethereum wallet, Litecoin wallet, Bitcoin Cash wallet, and a currency exchange). Great for those just starting out.
Trading Platforms & Exchanges
Kraken is one of the most complete trading platforms avaliable for buying and selling crypto-currencies. Once you've funded your account, you can buy, sell & swap across any number of coins. The easiest to fund your account is by transfering Bitcoin onto their platform.
